National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders have assured Kenyans that they will transform this country if they ascend to power in August, which might not be the case. Both Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga and Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has been put on the spot over shambolic nominations. Several leaders have accused the duo of attempting to impose leaders on the people. Raila has been faulted for attempting to arm twist the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for his selfish gains, claims he has denied. Former vice President is under fire for nominating his own son Kennedy to join the East African Legislative Council (EALA). Oburu Odinga was also among the leaders whose names had been presented for the appointment but he turned down the offer to campaign for the former vice prime minister. The decision by Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama not to defend his seat in the forthcoming general polls is also sending a different message about the leadership of Kalonzo. Machakos governor also faulted Musyoka of frustrating him since he took over power. Kitui senator David Musila has also lamented about Kalonzo’s leadership until he opted to walk away from the party following his defeat by Kitui incumbent governor Dr. Julius Malombe. The sentiments of all these leaders indicate that the leadership of Raila and Kalonzo is likely to be characterized by dictatorship.[Cord leader Raila Odinga and Wiper leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka at a past function] Photo/the-star.co.ke
