The opposition NASA alliance now says that it is yet to agree on the venue for the planned swearing-in of its leader Raila Odinga.

Addressing the press in Nairobi  Friday, ODM Executive Director Oduor Ong'wen said that all the counties that have passed the People's Assembly motion have applied to hold the December 12 event, and the committee spearheading the ceremony is yet to choose from among them.

''All the counties that passed the motion have made requests to host the historic event,'' he is quoted by the Star.

Regarding NASA's refusal to acknowledge the October 26 presidential re-run and it's winner President Uhuru Kenyatta, Ong'wen said that the alliance will call for a national convention after the inauguration to discuss a new election date.

Ong'wen who said that the alliance's earlier call for secession is also still on the table, further revealed that apart from Odinga, several other leaders will as well take oaths in the historical event.

''What we are simply saying is that come Tuesday, many activities will be happening. We shall have motions to deliberate on. The swearing-in of leaders is among the many activities that will take place,'' he said.

''If IEBC shall not have put a new regime in place, we shall be forced to go the separation way. Let it be made clear that it is the prevailing dictatorship in the country that has pushed us this far. We are not ready to back down,'' he added

Among those invited to the inauguration is the Judiciary, National Police Service, Kenya Defence Forces and all independent bodies.
