National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that the National Super Alliance (NASA) is yet to present nominees for the minority whip and deputy minority leader because of incessant infighting among the different parties forming the political outfit.

Speaking during an interview on NTV, Duale said that the opposition is divided on different issues, adding that it will not form a formidable team to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

"The opposition is calling for a bipartisan approach whereas they have refused to join the House Business Committee. In fact, they have internal friction that has impeded them to present the minority whip and deputy minority leader," said Duale.

In the meantime, leaders of the opposition have insisted that they will not take part in the fresh election unless their demands are met.

The leaders are pushing for the resignation of CEO Ezra Chiloba and other officials believed to have been behind the loss of their presidential candidate , Raila Amolo Odinga , who  is taking a fourth  stab at the presidency in October.
