Maalim wants the two principals to have an easy time when it comes to running the affairs of this nation if they ascend to power.

The lawmaker, who was speaking in Garissa town, said that Raila will find it rough running a nation when the leaders of the majoriity supports the opposition.

“It will be hard for our presidential candidate to run the government without a majority in the National Assembly, the Senate and County assemblies,” he stated.

The legislator also called upon aspirants who were eyeing different  elective posts but lost to come together with their counterparts to name one of them to contest for various seats as we head to the polls.

“NASA party candidates should meet and chose one of their own to avoid dividing the votes further as it happened in  2013. Those who lost in the primaries should step down if they truly believe in NASA coalition course,” he added.

Maalim has been very vocal when it comes to matters of national interest.
