Muthama argues that the coalition will remain strong and continue to agitate for electoral reforms and justice in the country.

According to the vocal former senator,  NASA’s agenda is beyond individuals, and  claims of the coalition collapsing are just mere propaganda.

He said the country will not move forward if the coalition gives up on its core mandate.

“NASA’s key agenda is to see the country liberated with key institutional reforms that will guarantee fairness in elections and rule of law,” Muthama said.

Muthama addressed the press in Athi River, Machakos County on Monday.

The former Wiper senator said NASA's affiliate parties are committed to the opposition coalition's agenda.

He asked Kenyans and supporters to ignore propaganda being peddled against the coalition.

Muthama said that last week's meeting between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga was a plus to the coalition agenda.

“We will move together and make sure that we deliver on what we promised our supporters,” he added.

There have been claims that NASA is on its deathbed as suspicions and mistrust among affiliate parties continue rock the coalition.

Political analysts argue that Raila’s meeting with Uhuru seems to have sealed the NASA coalition fate after the two leaders agreed to work together.

On Monday, the NASA committee steering the People’s Assembly announced that the assemblies have been suspended.

The NASA principals in a summit meeting in Athi River on Monday agreed to push for national dialogue and reconciliation with the Jubilee government.

On Friday, Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper Party will convene  a delegates meeting to decide on its future in the NASA coalition.
