There have been speculations that some regions supporting National Super Alliance (NASA) are likely to experience voter apathy in the forthcoming general polls because of the named lineup, which is not going to be the case.
Cord Leader Raila Amolo Odinga, Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula, Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi and Chama Cha Mashanani(CCM) Leader Isaac Ruto have affirmed that they will stick together until they unseat Jubilee from power.
Each of these co-principals has something to smile about and so are their communities.
The Luo will be motivated to back the alliance because it is led by their own.
The Kamba’s just like the Kalenjin have done will stand with Kalonzo as he looks forward to serving the same person twice but under better leadership.
The Luhya have two top posts while Kalenjin have also been given a share in the opposition’s government structure.
During the unveiling of the NASA flag bearer, the five co-principals showed unity of purpose. Efforts of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto to make Kalonzo go solo in the forthcoming general polls have proven futile.
The Ukambani political kingpin has proven that he is tired of the current leadership and he is ready to do anything as long as Jubilee does not retain power. Kalonzo had maintained that he will support anyone the alliance will front to contest for the nation’s top seat.
