On Sunday, Ralia Odinga addressed his supporters in Kibera.This was after the alleged police brutality on the protesters against the presidential election results. Talking to the media, the NASA leader urged his supporters not to report to work on Monday. However, it was noted that most workers in NASA strongholds went to work contrary to Baba’s directive. This is why they defied Baba. Most of them feared losing their jobs. With so many jobless people in this country, NASA diehards feared being sacked. This was especially to those working in the private sector. Peace had resumed in the NASA strongholds. After two days of ugly battles with the police in Kisumu and Kibera areas, normalcy had resumed by Monday. This motivated the NASA supporters to go to work or open their businesses. NASA did not promise a compensation for the lost time. Most supporters felt that Raila would not give them food if they never went on with their plans. On Monday, Kenyans continued with their work of building the nation after spending the better part of last week in elections.
