The recent demonstrations against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) by the opposition have continued to elicit mixed reactions from different factions. The National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters have interfered with businesses across the nation.
The undecided voters are likely to think twice whenever they see what is transpiring in the nation in the name of demonstrations to kick out CEO Ezra Chiloba and his team. Kenyans who love peace and hope for a better nation will rethink about the decision to vote for the former Prime Minister. The supporters have made Raila to appear like someone who does not love peace or care about the lives of others.
On his part, Raila has insisted that the journey to Canaan is unstoppable. As the supporters continue with their demos, it is high time they embraced sobriety. Speaking at the Capitol Hill office, Raila asked his supporters to fight on until fruits of liberation are realized.
"Our journey to Canaan is on and almost complete. Of the team that left Egypt for Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb were able to cross to the Promised Land. Many others fell by the wayside. So don’t worry about defectors. Ask yourself whether Joshua and Caleb are with you and if they are willing to take you to the promised land," he said, as quoted by Tuko.co.ke.
