Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga’s assurance to take the supporters of the National Super Alliance (NASA) to what he termed as the Promised Land appears to be a farfetched dream after he lost in the presidential race.
Supporters of Raila, who was taking a fourth stab at the Presidency, kept talking about different things they would do once they reached the Canaan.
Raila and his team has been launching attack after attack against the current regime accusing it of failing to keep its pre-election pledges.
Leaders of the opposition have been faulting the current regime of poor governance. Raila opines that Uhuru and his Jubilee team have not done enough to transform the lives of the Kenyans.
The opposition leader pitched tents in different parts of the nation with the hope that he will clinch the presidency.
Raila, ODM leader, banked on the support of Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani National Congress (ANC) Musalia Mudavadi, Ford Kenya Leader Moses Wetangula and Chama Cha Mashinani Leader Isaac Ruto to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta, which never happened. Raila’s supporters will have to wait longer to see the Promised Land.
