Nairobi governor hopeful Peter Kenneth’s running mate Linnet Mirehane is upbeat Jubilee Party will win the county top seat in the August 8 elections.
Mirehane said Nairobians should expect a new dawn if the Kenneth team emerges victorious in the upcoming general election.
"Jubilee is very strong in the city and residents should brace themselves for a new dawn," she told the Nation on Sunday.
"We have done our homework and are encouraged with the feedback we have received," she added.
Jubilee is eyeing the governor's seat currently held by ODM's Dr Evans Kidero.
But the Kenneth-Mirehane camp will have to clear their first hurdle on Friday, April 21, when they face off their rivals in the hunt for the JP ticket.
Senator Mike Sonko and former assistant minister Margaret Wanjiru are also eyeing the Jubilee ticket.
The former councillor further said Jubilee supporters and her team in Nairobi are ready for the Friday nominations.
“Our structures are in place. We are confident," she said.
