With his political fate dangerously teetering towards an undignified end, there is no doubt that former prime minister Raila Odinga will pull all stops to ensure that he remains alive in the political stage. And the only assurance Odinga has is built on the supreme court,a court that in 2013 dashed his unquenched thirst to climb to the house on the hill.So bad is the situation that Mr Odinga has now warned the seven judge bench not to toy around with his new petition as they did in 2013.According to political analyst Chris Bichache, the decision that the court will make over the petition challenging the validity of president Uhuru Kenyatta's August 8 victory could make or break one of the country's most seasoned politicians."While a win at the supreme court will definitely flicker a ray of hope in the dwindling flame of Mr Odinga's political career, a loss would definitely destroy him.It will see him bow out of the political stage in the most undignified manner ever," Omari said.Having indicated that he will never again contest the presidential seat ut only remains to be seen whether the David Maraga- led Supreme Court will hand Mr Odinga a political breather by quashing the reelection of president Kenyatta or will summarily send him back to the drawing board as they did in 2013 when he sought their indulgence over the same mattet under the auspices of The Coalition of Reforms and Democracy (Cord).Photo Caption/softkenya.com.Nasa presidential contender Raila Odinga.A political analyst says his move to file a petition challenging the victory of president Uhuru Kenyatta could either make or break him.
