Over the past few months, we have been treated to melodramatic rants by 'experts' on various constitutional and political matters on our National Television networks and radio talk shows as they expounded their 'knowledge' on any matter under the sun.
It didn't help much that most of their discussions were propelled by their political persuasions and, in a few cases, their tribal affiliations.
I feel it is now time that we switch to serious matters of national importance. It would be meaningless for us as a nation to keep glued to television sets to listen to meaningless rants.
I suggest that all experts of all sorts should now go to the farms to do meaningful work for the nation and avoid wasting their time and ours discussing empty rhetoric.
It is time we put this election behind us and begin to heal the wounds. The nation desperately needs to come together.
That the experts have shifted gears to discuss Raila's impending swearing in on 12th December, 2017 is again putting us in a tight corner.
Let us go back to the farms and firms to produce for the nation and forget the charlatans on our screens.
