From President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party to ODM party leader Raila Odinga's camp, politicians are scouting for young girls who analysts say play an instrumental role in pulling crowds in political rallies.

During the launch of Jubilee Party at Kasarani, Nairobi, this was evident as girls, labeled 'Uhuru na Warembo', selectively picked from within Nairobi, wore Jubilee Party colours as delegates trooped to the launch venue.

They line-up at the Jubilee Party headquarters to welcome Uhuru and his Deputy, William Ruto, to the new offices as the ruling coalition's supporters awaited JP's launch.

And during the party's launch hour, they took centre stage in welcoming delegates who converged at Kasarani.

Raila on the other hand, in this feminine game, isn't left behind.

Girls from the lakeside counties of Kisumu and Siaya converged in Kisumu town recently to strategise on how to help the veteran politician during campaign period to garner as many votes as possible.

Raila, in many of his local political visits, is always accompanied by these young beauties, always clad in orange colours.

But why are they always hired.

The beauty in the girls is a charm for young men who apparently love politics.

Talk of Governor Hassan Joho's recent rally in Mombasa where Hijab-covered-light-skinned ladies thronged the rally venue.

The ladies, 'Warembo na Joho', chanted pro-Joho slogans as they convinced residents that Joho was best placed to transform Mombasa.

Reliable information indicates the queens are handsomely paid.
