There are different reasons why most politicians do not want to attend live Television interviews.

It has become common to see politicians in this country walk away from interviews because of different reasons.

Television interviews are not only tricky but they can also cost a politician his or her career. Even politicians who are talented when it comes to public speaking find it tough during interviews.

It is tougher to attend a television interview when you are having a political storm as far as your career is concerned. We have seen many renowned politicians running out of words live on air because they have been ambushed by the interview.

For instance, there are several reasons why the former United States of America President Barack Obama rarely attended interviews on shows such as Fox News Channel.

Some of these stations are always used by opponents who want to bring one down. In the past, we have seen interviewers asking biased questioned despite having laws to govern the media fraternity.

In such a case most politicians end up frustrated on air instead of telling the people what they will do in the event that they are elected into power.
