The National Super Alliance (NASA) is targeting Jubilee strongholds in its first campaign rallies, in a bid to woo more voters.
During its launch, head of NASA technical committee Senator James Orengo said the Opposition will hold its first rally in Eldoret, Deputy President William Ruto’s home town.
The DP has always attacked Raila in political rallies ever since he left the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
Ruto has always dismissed the opposition coalition, saying it has no agenda for the country.
Sources say Raila chose the DP’s backyard as a political strategy to send shock waves within the Jubilee Party.
NASA strategists believe that popularising the newly formed political vehicle in Jubilee strongholds will win new support and tilt the numbers in its favour ahead of the August 8 general election.
