Atwoli actually believes that Water CS Eugene Wamalwa will deliver more votes to Jubilee than Mudavadi will do to Nasa. That means despite Mudavadi and Wetangula and Raila Odinga coming under one umbrella to consolidate the region's vote, the Luhya unity still remains elusive. This is perhaps why Jubilee is convinced that it also have some stakes there as Jubilee Party vice-chairman David Murathe told Citizen TV's Cheche show on Wednesday."Jubilee has the potential of harvesting votes, particularly in former hostile areas, which we can now convert into swing areas. You can see what we are doing in Western Kenya, Coast and Kisii areas,” said Murathe.
