Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka says the government cannot arrest Raila Odinga because he will not ran again for presidency.
For weeks now, Kalonzo is fighting backlash from NASA leaders and supporters who balme him for skipping Raila's inauguration.
And at Athi River on Tuesday, the former Vice President insisted that the government was only keen to arrest and prosecute him as a wider plot to dent his 2022 ambitions.
"They cannot arrest my brother Raila because they know he is not running for presidency any time in future," he said.
Kalonzo added: "Their intentions was to arrest and prosecute me because they know I will be on the ballot. That is why I skipped the event."
Conspicuously, Kalonzo has been giving contradicting reasons with regard to his decision to skip the inauguration with at times claiming that he was under house arrest.
NASA is reportedly planning for a mega meeting of Friday to iron out issues that have at times threatened to disintegrate the coalition.
