Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) leader Raila Odinga has been cautious when it comes to speaking about the National Super Alliance (NASA) despite Amani National Coalition (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi saying he held talks with him over the formation of the alliance.

Raila is not among those leaders who will just join any political outfit without knowing exactly where it is destined.

2017 is considered Raila’s injury time in the game of politics and he cannot afford to take chances.

As much as NASA is one among the vehicles that is likely to dock safely at State House, the crew has made Raila think twice before embarking on the political voyage.

Mudavadi and Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo left Raila at the time he needed them most in 2013 and 2007 respectively.

In fact, the duo has contributed towards Raila’s failure as far as the presidential bid is concerned.

It is hard to walk with soldiers who are likely to join the enemy or run away while at the battlefield. Kalonzo has been branded Watermelon because of his indecisiveness.

Mudavadi, on the other hand, has been known for making specific decisions in his defense.
