[Photo: nation.co.ke]It is the first time that President Uhuru Kenyatta has spoken like a President since his August 8 presidential victory which was nullified by the Supreme Court a week ago.Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has said that Uhuru was speaking like a church Bishop."Today, since these Supreme Court compromised crooks nullified your victory, we are seeing you talk like a President. All the other times you have been talking like a Bishop! Mr President today you have made it clear to the 'kitendawili' man that you are the President of Kenya till proved otherwise," Murkomen said at Uhuru Park Jubilee rally on Saturday. But does the Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator opinion matter to millions of Jubilee supporters as we head to October 17 presidential poll?Well, the answer is precise yes and this is why:One, Uhuru spoke to the hearts of his supporters. He made it clear that he is the reigning President when he told Raila Odinga that he is a 'mere presidential candidate with absolutive no powers to order anything'. That includes Raila's assertions that he can postpone class 8 n Form 4 exams."You are a mere presidential candidate. Myself I am President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. You have no powers to order anything. I can do. To prove it that, I am the President, KCPE and KCSE exams will go as scheduled. One 'mchawi' who never went to school cannot hold 1.4 million Kenyan children at a ransom because he want to become President," said Uhuru on Saturated at Uhuru Park. Two, as Raila talks about the same old stuff about Jubilee corruption and the other issues that never helped him win the first round, Jubilee is busy campaigning on the Raila-Maraga narrative. Something Jubilee has perfected. It turned around the ICC case to the chagrin of everybody. There is no doubt that NASA has evoked the 2013 emotions of Jubilee supporters who are ready to punish Raila on the ballot than ever before. Finally, Raila continues to be 'the usual crybaby' who inspires zero confidence to supporters. As Jubilee's Uhuru Kenyatta is busy traversing the nation campaigning, Raila is again back in courts to dismantle the IEBC and perhaps postpone elections which the ruling Jubilee has counted off.So, what are Raila's options? Time will tell as the two-horse race draws near.
