Former Lands Minister Charity Kaluki Ngilu has said that National Super Alliance( NASA) under the leadership of Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga is the only political movement that will solve the problems of Kenyans.
Ngilu, who is contesting for the Kitui governorship in August, said that Cord leader Raila will address illiteracy, poverty, water, food and health care among other issues that the current government has been unable to deal with since it took over leadership following the last general elections. The lawmaker exuded confidence that Raila will make the best president when that time comes.
“It is only NASA that I found to match my five-point manifesto that addresses illiteracy, poverty, healthcare, food and water. This is the way to go Kenya,” she said, as quoted by Standard.
She also said that she will never oppose Wiper Party leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka as he seeks to ascend to power after the end of Raila’s term in power.
“I have done thorough soul-searching and decided never again to sway the aspirations of our son Kalonzo to be president. Those who know me know that I don’t associate with the losing side,” she added. Ngilu will be contesting against Dr. Julius Malombe and Senator David Musila.
