Makueni MP Daniel Maanzo has shifted blame to ODM leader Raila Odinga for internal wrangles in the National Super Alliance (NASA) that are now threatening the coalition existence.
Maanzo argues that Raila's ODM party is determined to see the coalition collapse.
Speaking to journalists in Makeuni Town on Saturday, Maanzo said that Raila has continued to remain silent as his party wreaks havoc in the coalition.
The Wiper lawmaker observed that some ODM politicians have in the recent days continued to openly make statements that are against the NASA coalition.
He said that the Orange Party is determined to see the coalition fall in order to gain in 2022.
"It is very clear to us that the Orange Party leader has remained silent as his party members continue to wreack havoc in our coalition and we are not surprised," he said.
Maaanzo said that some ODM politicians are feeling threatened by NASA principal's unity.
He asked Raila to make his stand known and save the coalition from internal wrangles that are already stalling the coalition reforms agenda.
The MP said that the Orange party senators move to petition removal of Bungoma senator Moses Wetangulaa as senate minority leader was malicious.
He wondered why the ODM senators could petition Wetangula's ouster without the knowledge of NASA co-principal's.
Maanzo said that ODM should be given permission to quit the coalition if it wants.
" From the way things are, it is like our colleagues have made up their minds to part ways with NASA and being a democratic coalition we should allow them to go, " he said.
On Friday, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula held a crisis meeting after ODM petitioned Wetangula's ouster.
The three principals agreed to have their parties conduct National Executive Executive Committee (NEC) meetings on Tuesday to decide on ODM's future in the NASA coalition.
Raila has since denied any knowledge of the petition to oust senator Wetangula as senate minority leader.
