NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga lost the presidential election to Uhuru Kenyatta  because he failed to rally his supporters especially in perceived strongholds to vote for him in the Tuesday general election,  political analyst Edward Kisiangani has revealed.

In an interview on Citizen TV, Kisiangani said that their was poor voter turn out in Raila's perceived strongholds.

The analyst said that NASA had the numbers to send UhuRuto packing but did not marshal their voters to come out and vote.

''Raila and NASA will have themselves to blame because of their poor organisation and planning especially during campaigns,'' he said.

Kisiangani said that Jubilee campaigns were more strategic and focused compared to NASA's.

The analyst said that NASA had a great opportunity of unseating Jubilee but blew the opportunity away.

''I know its hard for NASA  to accept or concede  defeat but they have to accept the reality and move on,'' he said.

NASA lost the presidential polls to President Kenyatta who has since been declared the winner with over 8.2 million votes against Raila's 6.8 million votes.

Uhuru was declared winner by IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati at the Bomas of Kenya on Friday night.
