Speaking in Kibwezi Town on Thursday , the Wiper MP said Kalonzo will only have impact on his Presidential bid if he unites the community.

Mbalu said the community was divided hence hopes of producing a President in 2022 will remain a dream unless they get united.

"Kalonzo Musyoka's first step towards becoming President should be to unite our leaders in Ukambani who are divided on political grounds," Mbalu said.

The MP said Kalonzo has political experience to contest for the top seat.

Mbalu said time had come for the region to stand together and support one of it's own for Presidency.

She pleaded with NASA leader Raila Odinga to endorse Kalonzo's 2022 bid.

" Our request is to Raila Odinga to endorse Kalonzo Myusyoka in 2022 because he is the only politician who has stood with him over the year's," she said.

Mbalu said Kalonzo needs Raila Odinga's support to win in 2022.

She dismissed the Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's 2022 Presidential bid.

Mbalu urged the Machakos County boss to shelve his bid and give Kalonzo space to contest freely.

She claimed Mutua does not have political experience to steer the country affairs at the top level.

Kalonzo is counting on Raila Odinga's support in 2022.

The former Vice President signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raila that is to see him fly the NASA ticket in 2022.

There have, however, been claims that Raila might not endorse Kalonzo's candidature after he lost twice in last year's Presidential poll.

Political analysts argue Raila could contest again in 2022 under the ODM banner.

Several Kamba politicians have been urging Kalonzo to ditch NASA on grounds that its leader Raila will again betray him in 2022.
