[Photo|ODM Reloaded]The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has temporarily dropped their adopt-a-polling station initiative, as election day approaches. This is after the government, through the Interior and Coordination Ministry, warned that nobody would be allowed to loiter around a polling station.IEBC also warned that voters who will have voted, should stay 400 metre radius from the polling station.According to the government, this is to ensure overcrowding and possible cases of violence at the polling station.Instead, Nasa through its presidential candidate Raila Odinga, has asked its supporters, to come back at 5 pm, after voting, to secure the votes. Before, Nasa asked supporters to camp at the polling centres immediately after voting, to ensure everybody votes, and votes are not 'stolen'.Speaking at Mama Ngina Drive, in Mombasa County, Raila said this would ensure Nasa votes are all counted."After voting every Nasa supporter should go home to avoid being teargassed. But come back at 5 pm to safeguard the Nasa votes. When they count, we count. When they sum up, we sum up. When they throw, we throw. When they announce, we announce,” said the ODM party leader, Friday. He was flanked by fellow Nasa principals, Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho, among other local Nasa leaders.
