Amid the great rift in NASA, it is not worthwhile for the likes of Wetangula, Mudavadi or Kalonzo to whine about Raila's deals with the head of state and feel left out.
Going by the recent events, If Raila Odinga is teargassed as other former co-principals watch from a distance, it's business as usual.
They have never complained! If Raila Odinga is attacked, abused left, right and centre by some government loud mouths for his fight for Kenyans, his colleagues have always been spared.
It's business as usual. Tinga never complained. If 'they' engage Uhuru Kenyatta in countless night meetings, have their sons and several confidantes appointed or supported to plum positions like EALA, all of which have never escaped the strongest network in Kenya and abroad, it has always been business as usual because Raila has always ignored, never complained and instead defended then in the public court.
If Raila supporters are shot dead, maimed by the bullet, taken to courts, taken to hospitals etc, Kalonzo Musyoka's backyard has always been just as peaceful as Kalonzo himself not to mention Musalia and Wetangula.
Still it has always been business as usual. Raila has never complained but buried his people in peace(baby Pendo comes in mind).
Why should there be an uproar from all diehard fans of Kalonzo Musyoka, Wetangula and Musalia if Raila Odinga chooses to support peace and unity?
Is it that these fans are clever and in touch with the reality on the ground that with Raila Odinga in the government side, no one will fight for them? Are they saying that with Luos on the peace side no one will demonstrate and die for them should need be?
Why is there confusion among Kalonzo Musyoka, Wetangula and Musalia if Raila chooses peace, so much so that everyone is stiff scared and forming funny parties?
When OKM came to birth, among the key resolutions made in that meeting by Kalonzo enthusiasts is that he should engage the same Uhuru. And then there is Mulembe Party in the offing.
The noise you hear and the prevailing confusion is enough manifestation that there has been an over-reliance on Raila's political person and now that the principals are out of his shadow they are scared.
Their persistent calls for revolution are but hypocritical when the real truth is that they are forging political limelight when there is actually none.
Raila Amolo Odinga has fought enough battles for others and it is time we recognized him for that.
