Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo has advised NASA leader Raila Odinga to quit politics and stop embarrassing himself.Njomo argues that Raila has nothing left of him politically after losing presidential election twice in 2017.Speaking to journalists at Ndumberi grounds on Monday, Njomo said that Raila is making himself a laughing talk by claiming that he won the August 8 presidential election.Njomo said that the former Prime Minister has run out of political ideas and is desperately engaging in sideshows to remain relevant.“It is time Raila Odinga saved himself from political embarrassment, humiliation and desperation by quitting active politics,” he said.Njomo said that the former Prime Minister is being misadvised by his allies who are using the opportunity to make themselves famous.He said that Raila’s continued push to be sworn in as the people's president will be his worst embarrassment and humiliation ever.He said that the constitution is clear, adding that Jubilee government will not hesitate to arrest and charge the former prime minister is he dares to swear himself as the president.“The government will treat Raila as any other criminal if he dares to swear himself as the president,” he added.Raila has maintained that he will be sworn in as the people’s president since he does not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency.The former Prime minister further says that he is ready to die fighting for electoral justice and reforms.NASA has vowed to intensify its push for electoral reforms and justice through streets protests and economic boycott among other strategies.
