Jubilee MPs from Northern Kenya are now accusing NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga of planning to 'punish' the region for not backing him in his quest to unseat President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Led by Garissa Township MP Aden Duale, the legislators said Raila is revenging by profiling individuals from Northern Eastern serving in public offices.

Duale, who is the Leader of Majority in the National Assembly, said IEBC commissioner Abdi Yakub Guliye is the latest target in Raila's vengeance mission.

"The Opposition leader is targeting Guliye to punish Northern Kenya communities for failing to vote for him during August 8 elections," said the MP addressing the press at Parliament Buildings on Wednesday.

The NASA leader has maintained Guliye, who chairs ICT committee, and other electoral officials must be sacked for allegedly bungling August 8 poll.

He insists the Opposition will not participate in October 17 election if the officials who also include CEO Ezra Chiloba are not relieved their duties.

The MPs vowed not to allow the former Prime Minister to force the removal of Guliye from the electoral agency.

"Raila has a habit of profiling our leaders, time has come for us to say no. Isaac Hassan (former IEBC chair) was the last one to be forced out by you," Duale told the ODM leader.
