The current system of government favours large communities and encourages exclusion of other minority communities.
Nasa says it wants to address this 'problem' by amending the Constitution to establish a hybrid executive system which will have a President and a Prime Minister as a way of sharing power and ensuring inclusivity.
The Nasa manifesto launched on Tuesday night says that a hybrid parliamentary system based on the Bomas draft, will not only allow individuals from smaller communities to rise to the highest office in the land but also encourage an inclusive system of power sharing.
Nasa has often accused the Jubilee administration of engineering ethnic exclusion in governance which they say has been encouraged by the constitution.
In the draft of the Constitution produced at the Bomas of Kenya Delegates Conference in 2005, there was to be a President, Deputy President, Prime Minister and ministers.
The Premier would be the head of the Cabinet and appointed by the President. There would also be two deputy premiers and a maximum of 20 and minimum of 15 ministers.
According to Nasa line up, Raila Odinga is the Presidential Candidate with Kalonzo Musyoka as the Deputy Presidential candidate.
Musalia Mudavadi will be the Premier Cabinet Secretary in charge of cabinet coordination if NASA wins the August general elections and forms the government.
Moses Wetangula will be the Deputy Premier Cabinet Secretary in charge of Economic sector coordination while Isaac Ruto will be the Deputy Premier Cabinet Secretary in charge of governance.
