Kisiangani claims that the former Prime Minister will contest on  ODM ticket in 2022.

In a twitter post on Tuesday, Kisiangani said that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s non- committal to be sworn in as the people's deputy president automatically hands Raila a free ticket to contest in 2022.

Kisiangani argues  that Kalonzo has proven himself as a person who does not have a firm political stand and who can no longer be trusted.

“I see Raila Odinga re-brand himself and vying  on ODM ticket come 2022,” the analyst wrote.

He said that the uncertainty in NASA over Kalonzo’s swearing in gives Raila a political life line in his presidential bid.

Raila signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kalonzo that was to see the former Vice president automatically fly the NASA ticket in 2022.

Political analysts,  however,  observe  that the MoU could be trashed after Odinga failed to clinch the presidency in the  2017 presidential election.

Raila took oath as the people’s president on January 30, an event that Kalonzo alongside Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula suspiciously  skipped.

On Tuesday, Kalonzo was quoted saying that the January 30 swearing in was illegal, adding that he is still consulting to see whether he will be sworn in as the people’s deputy president.

Kalonzo at the same time denied claims of planning to ditch NASA, saying that he committed to the electoral reforms agenda.
