Former Budalangi MP Ababu Namwamba has hit out at NASA leader Raila Odinga, saying the former Prime Minister will never be president. In an interview with the Standard on Sunday, Ababu claimed that Raila is too old to be in politics, adding that the time has come for him to retire. The former ODM secretary general asked Raila to leave politics to young politicians. He said Raila has no chance of beating President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat presidential election slated for October 16."Raila Odinga should stop wasting his time because he does not have the numbers to beat President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat poll,” said Ababu, as quoted by the Standard.Ababu said Raila is not destined to be Kenya’s president, adding that the ODM Party leader has no agenda for Kenyans."Apart from his 'vitendawili’ rhetoric, the former PM has nothing to offer Kenyans and he should retire gracefully," he added.Ababu, who is now campaigning for President Uhuru’s re-re-election said Raila will be humiliated in the repeat poll. He at the same time criticised NASA’s anti-IEBC protests, saying they are a plot to cause chaos in the country. He asked the IEBC to remain firm and continue with its preparations for the repeat election. NASA is pushing for the removal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba and other officials who allegedly bungled the August 8 presidential election. The opposition says it will be holding mass protests every Monday and Friday to ensure the IEBC officials who allegedly bungled the August 8 presidential election exit office.
