Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has predicted a Raila Odinga win in the August presidential polls.
Ngilu spoke at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega during the official launch of NASA presidential campaigns and the unveiling of the coalition’s agenda for the region. She said that she has come home after ditching Jubilee.
“I am happy because I have come back home. NASA will unite Kenyans and bring peace to this country. Few individuals who do not care about the welfare of citizens cannot control Kenya. This is like 2002 when everyone wanted change. Uhuru and Ruto were with Moi but Mudavadi has decided to join us. Come August 8, Raila Odinga will be in State House,” Ngilu said.
The Kitui gubernatorial hopeful made her first appearance in NASA rallies in style after she landed in a helicopter alongside leaders from Western Kenya. Lugari MP Ayub Savula, Vihiga Senator Geroge Khanyiri and NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi accompanied the former CS.
Her pledge to fully support Kalonzo Musyoka and his boss in the 8th August polls Raila Odinga will definitelt complicate the Kitui gubernatorial race.
The Narc-Kenya party leader is seeking to stump Julius Malombe out of office. Wiper leader must be neutral to be neutral for the sake of uniting NASA in Ukambani.
