National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate, Raila Amolo Odinga is known to attack various agencies during the electioneering period, which has not been different in 2017. The opposition leader has put on spot Kenya Defense Forces (KDF), National Security Intelligence Service (NSIS), Safaricom, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) among others for having a hand in his loss to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
A section of Kenyans has been made to believe that Raila will be a dictator. Both the opposition and Jubilee supporters are not ready for a dictatorial government. The fact that Raila was once linked to the 1982 attempted coup on President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi has made him among the most feared politicians.
Kenyans from both divides want to hear what Raila says because they know he is very powerful. Some of the Kenyans working in this institutions fear that they will lose jobs if Raila is elected. Raila once asked Kenyans not to watch NTV. Employees from such companies will find it hard trusting Raila’s presidency. Only his diehard supporters will believe in what he says during his rallies as he seeks for support.
