After waiting for hours with bated breath, Kenyans were finally addressed by Raila Odinga as he made his grand announcement at the Wiper headquarters in Lavington.
The address, overshadowed by an attack on journalists by youths thought to be NASA supporters, was received with mixed reactions from the opposition rank and file.
Scores of supporters felt that the speech was way below their expectations.
''I expected Baba to take a strong position than he did. He appeared withdrawn and tired. I am not excited.'' Elvis Otiato, a NASA supporter said.
''I don't see how the speech is going to help us. I expected a bombshell.'' Another supporter told a local radio station.
