Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to meet withFord Kenya leader Moses Wetangula together.
Sonko made the appeal on Wednesday when he hosted Wetangula at City Hall.
According to Sonko, President Uhuru should meet the leaders as a sign extending the unity agreement.
"Hosting Ford Kenya leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangulathis morning at City Hall, where we discussed various issues of national interest. Let's advocate for peace harmony and unity across the country and dedicate ourselves to serving Kenyans despite our political background or religion," said Sonko.
Sonko stated that political differences between leaders should not limit them from serving Kenyans.
On his part, Wetangula lauded Sonko for the war on graft in the city.
The meeting comes after Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka also paid Sonko a courtesy call on Tuesday.
