Former Nairobi governor candidate Miguna Miguna has said that the October 26 repeat presidential poll will be nullified again as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has not meet the requirements set by the Supreme Court.

Speaking during an interview with NTV, Miguna pointed out that there were numerous errors in the commission's preparation for the election which would make it illegal.

“As you can see there’s a plethora of errors. In fact, all the ten points are erroneous. What does that tell you?" he posed.

"The commission is not ready to conduct a credible election, it tells you they are not meeting the requirements by the Supreme Court, it tells you that this election will be nullified,” Miguna argued.

He added that the commission is being micromanaged by the Internal Security PS and Jubilee's Majority Leader of the National Assembly Aden Duale.

"The commission is being controlled. As I said last week and I am going to repeat here, the commission according to commissioner Akombe is being micromanaged by PS internal security and the Jubilee majority leader of the National Assembly Aden Duale," Miguna added.
