With a few petitions filed at the Supreme Court challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election in the concluded October 26 re-run, the nation is preparing for another tough court face off similar to the earlier one witnessed in the opposition alliance NASA's challenge of the August 8 poll.

Among those who have filed cases in opposition of the victory is former Kilome member of parliament Harun Mwau who argues that one of the race's top contenders and NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga's withdrawal from the race and national poll body IEBC's failure to conduct new nominations upon the court's order for a fresh poll render the entire process unconstitutional.

This now prepares the nation for a sensation, at least closer to the one felt earlier as lawyers and counsels representing the petitioner NASA and the respondents, national poll agency IEBC and President Kenyatta flexed their legal muscles in a bid to outdo each other and win the judge's favour, serious and interesting sessions that at times turned hilarious.

The sessions were marred with hard legal terms most Kenyans were yet to come across in a case that the opposition won with a similar scenario now in sight.

However, some of the favorite actors in the earlier version of the drama are likely to miss in action with the likes of James Orengo and Otiende Amollo who represented NASA being substituted by others like Harun Ndubi who will be spearheading the petitioners' case this time around.

Mos Kenyans are also keenly watching whether the court will once again make history as the first one in the world to annul two presidential elections within a 3-month span.
