Citizen TV resident political analyst Professor Edward Kisiangani has highlighted the major reasons why he feels there is a rebellion brewing in the Wiper Party.
In the past few days, the Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been on the receiving end with many questioning his influence in Ukambani politics after a section of Wiper leaders from Kitui county went ahead of him to endorse a candidate.
"Politics doesn't become attractive without rebellion, I can see there could be some revolt in the making. This rebellion has come about because Kalonzo is suffering from political paranoia this feeling that when you miss a chance to score a goal in a football match and blame the referee," said Kisiangani.
The professor was speaking on Thursday night on Citizen TV.
The professor further said the paranoia has affected Kalonzo immensely that he thinks people within his party are fighting him from within hence he has brought back the fight in the party.
"He (Kalonzo) thinks that people in Wiper don't like him and are working with outsiders. He has wasted chances to dominate Raila and now because of that he has gone inward and he is now demonstrating that sickness called paranoia," added Kisiangani.
However, Garissa Township parliamentary aspirant and Wiper Party member Farah Maalim who was also on the panel dismissed Kisiangani's diagnosis saying that it is farfetched.
"There is no paranoia in Kalonzo Musyoka, he is just marketing his wares, when you are in a coalition you all go out there and show people you are the right man for the job," said Maalim.
