The Opposition NASA alliance is no longer a peaceful place as the swearing in of their leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday has brought in more damage than harm.
Leaders, mostly allied to the ODM party, have come out to hit at the trio of WIper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula over an alleged betrayal.
Leaders from the ODM party have insisted that the three willfully avoided the swearing-in at Uhuru Park before switching off their phones.
Today Thursday, it is said that the three will be meeting their leaders Raila Odinga to try mend the cracks that have since widened with supporters on different social media platforms castigating them for 'cowardice'.
“The NASA summit, which includes our leader Raila, will meet today or latest tomorrow and thereafter issue a joint statement on the way forward. We are an integral part of NASA and anyone saying that we have left is practising cheap politics," said Kalonzo.
Meanwhile, Wetangula has reached out to his supporters asking for more time to explain what is happening.
“Let our supporters give us time. By end of Friday, they will get answers to what is happening,” Wetang’ula said.
