Gor Mahia trio of Samwel Onyango, captain Harun Shakava, and midfielder Francis Kahata did not travel back with the team, instead, joined the National team Harambee Stars in Morocco.
The national team is preparing for two friendly matches in the next one week, and the three were part of the team.
They thus connected to Morocco from Tunisia, where they linked up with other team members. The team, headed by coach Stanley Okumbi will take part in two friendly matches against Comoros and The Central Africa Republic.
Gor lost to Esperance in Tunisia, in an ill-tempered match that has seen the Kenyan team complain bitterly.
The teams settled for a goalless draw in Kenyatta Stadium two weeks ago, before going down 1-0 in the Tunisian capital.
The coach and team officials have since taken to their social media pages to lament over the manner in which the match was handled.
According to Coach Dylan Kerr, this was the worst officiating he had ever seen.
“That was a hell of a game! I watched it and how these guys overpower and take dives; they must now play in Kenya and get the same treatment.
They acted like bullies and then ran to protect the officials who I thought had a good game for them," Kerr wrote on his twitter.
