President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto have failed this nation for the past four years, Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua has said.
According to the lawmaker, the duo has nothing more to offer to Kenyans.
Speaking during first visit to Kasiluni, the senator said that the Jubilee regime has failed to protect Kenyans from incessant attacks of bandits and other challenges.
"A government that cannot guarantee peace and security of its people lacks the moral authority to purport to govern. It should be voted out of office for being a failure," he said, as quoted by Star.
He called upon the residents to turn in large numbers to back the election of National Super Alliance (Nasa) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga during the fresh elections.
The senator argued that Raila has what it takes to govern this nation, adding that he will safeguard the residents from bandits and other challenges they have faced during the Jubilee regime.
In the meantime, a section of leaders have promised to rally the Kamba nation behind President Kenyatta as he seeks another term in office.
Led by former Senator David Musila, the leaders have pledged to organize door to door campaigns to ensure Uhuru wins.
