As NASA leaders are leading their supporters to the streets in the name of protesting against the dismissal of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his brigade is traversing across the nation rallying the election behind his re-election.
It is evident that the opposition new strategy is weaker than it was before the August 8th election. The leaders have not mounted any serious campaign in the nation yet they want to rise to power when that time comes.
Since Uhuru’s win was nullified, the head of state has bagged several leaders from National Super Alliance (NASA) that Raila and his team term as job seekers. Regardless of the number of votes that the losers will deliver during the rerun, the opposition is no longer strong like it was before we head the election.
The shambolic party nominations are now haunting the Former Prime Minister. The leaders who were discontent with the nominations have now changed their tune to support Jubilee. With defections of the likes of Former Mombasa Senator Omar Hassan and his former Kitui Counterpart Musila David, all is not well in the alliance.
The opposition leader has now threatened not to take part in the election if his demands are not met. The former prime minister is leading to confusion among his supporters who are not taking to the streets.
