[Photo: buzzkenya.com]President Uhuru Kenyatta is not interested in any dialogue with NASA leader Raila Odinga till he is assured that his second-time victory is secure and safe.Former Jubilee Alliance loyalist Ogla Karani who decamped the coalition in the run-up to 2013 polls, has said that this is why Kenyatta after being declared President-elect on Monday, ruled out dialogue with Odinga before all 'constitutional processes are exhausted'."There are no many constitutional processes that the President was talking about after being declared President-elect. NASA has only the Supreme Court option where Jubilee demonstrated the other day that they can have their way through instilling fear and intimidation," Karani told NTV on Monday, in reference to the recent Supreme Court incident where the court was unable to raise quorum to listen and determine a case that was challenging the legitimacy of October 26 poll. However, pro-Jubilee Political pundit Gabriel Muthuma speaking at the same time, said that the President's statement on the dialogue issue was right on point, as he was just 'pre-empting possible moves by NASA or any other aggrieved party that may go to the Supreme Court to challenge his victory'."To me, this argument isn't even supposed to be there in the first place. President Uhuru pretty aware that we are still under a constitutional dispensation, just pre-empted what may come along. In short, he can't guarantee dialogue till he is the substantial President after being sworn in," Muthuma said.
