Uhuru is facing a stiff challenge from a team of opposition under the leadership of Raila odinga.

Musyoka, a close ally of Odinga, has persistently urged Odinga to support his bid, arguing that he has sacrificed enough.

"The president wants Musyoka to go for president to trim Odinga's chances in August polls. He is keen to ensure Musyoka abandons Odinga," claims Kalembe Ndile.

Ndile adds: "That is why I insist that the president does not support the interest of of community. He targets to scuttle the 1 million votes from the Kambas."

Before teaming with Odinga in 2013 elections, Musyoka also fell out with Odinga in 2007 where he opted to go alone in the elections.
