Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto will beat National Super Alliance (NASA) leader, Raila Amolo Odinga hands down because they have numbers.
The Garissa Township MP, said that Raila, who is taking a fourth stab at the nation’s top seat, knows very well that he stands no chance of beating Uhuru.
“Raila knows that he does not have the political muscles and the numbers to clinch the presidency and wants to cause trouble for Kenyans,” he claimed, as quoted by Standard.
The vocal politician also asked Raila, a former prime minister, to give Kenyans a break. This is after the opposition leaders dragged Safaricom into the election rigging.
“Raila Odinga and his NASA troops should give us a break and allow the country to move on if they themselves don’t want to move on,” he added.
In the meantime, NASA leaders have maintained that they will not take part in the fresh election if their demands are not met. Yesterday, the leaders were lamenting over the withdrawal of Raila and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka’s security.
