[Photo| Courtesy]President Uhuru Kenyatta has threatened to impeach NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga, if he is elected Kenya's fifth president.Uhuru, through Jubilee Party, will battle it out with ODM's Odinga, afresh on October 17, after the Supreme Court nullified his August 8 re-election, over electoral illegalities and irregularities.Speaking during a meeting with Jubilee party Kamba leaders at State House, Uhuru said his party had the majority in both National and Senate Assemblies, hence smooth impeachment process of 'President' Odinga.According to him, this would be done within two or three months."Even if Raila is to win, we will impeach him in two or three months. We have the numbers in both houses," Uhuru said, Monday. He told the leaders that his party had scooped almost every electoral seat in the August polls, therefore making matters of running government simpler. At the National Assembly, Jubilee has 213 members of parliament and 38 lawmakers at the Senate.

However, critics say it would be impossible for Jubilee to impeach Raila, basing on its current numbers, for it lacks the required threshold, and would need support from NASA members.
