President Uhuru Kenyatta new calls to have vote recount on cancelled August 8th presidential election is hypocritical and unjustified, says lawyer Moseti Moseti.

In a fresh criticism on judicial systems, Uhuru has faulted Supreme Court’s decision to annul his victory and is said to be keen to battle for a recount t establish the right winner.

But according to Moseti, Uhuru, through his lawyers, opposed a similar request by NASA lawyer James Orengo during the Supreme Court hearings.

“I find it totally hypocritical and strange. I saw Orengo making a similar request but was opposed by Fred Ngatia,” he says.

He further says:”I expected the lawyers to agree but they failed Kenyans then. It would have allowed us to know exactly what transpired.”

Although IEBC lawyer Paul Muite supported the request in court, Ngatia, consulted his Jubilee clients before opposition the offer.

A stubborn opposition has dismissed the request and demanded that should the court order recount, the electoral body should also allow both parties to access their servers.
