Mombasa governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal has said President Uhuru Kenyatta will easily win Tuesday’s election.

Speaking in Mombasa on Wednesday, Shahbal said Uhuru does not have a serious challenger, adding that NASA does not have the numbers to send Jubilee home.Shahbal argued that Jubilee will win because of the transformative and progressive agenda it has achieved in the last four and half years.“It is evident and clear that Uhuru is going to win re-election because of the numbers he has and the development agenda his government has realized,” said Shahbal, as quoted by the Standard. The Mombasa governor hopeful further criticized the opposition over its alleged lack of an agenda for the country. “What they (opposition) know best is how to spread malicious propaganda and cause tension,” he said.He asked Kenyans to rally behind UhuRuto, saying they will not be disappointed.Meanwhile, the Jubilee governor hopeful has exuded confidence of clinching the Mombasa seat, adding that he has the numbers on the ground to send the incumbent, Governor Hassan Joho home.“Joho should prepare to retire alongside his party leader Raila Odinga on August 8,” he said.
