Cracks continue to emerge in NASA with Uriri Member of Parliament Mark Nyamita being the latest politician to reignite the possibility of a coalition fallout ahead of the 2022 election.
According to the first-term MP, it's high time that ODM Chief Raila Odinga should quit the coalition and forge his own political path.
Nyamita claimed that NASA's partners are not committed to the cause adding that the coalition should be dissolved into a single party.
"Raila needs to focus on strengthening ODM because truly it's only ODM he can trust. If other coalition partners still believe that there is unity in opposition we should be magnanimous enough to dissolve the affiliate parties and have one party called NASA. In the absence of that, let's focus on ODM," Nyamita said after attending a meeting in Migori as quoted by Citizen Digital.
The lawmaker further alleged that Raila's coalition partners are out to rock the NASA boat by intentionally sabotaging ODM adding that the Orange party had sacrificed a lot for other NASA member parties.
The latest statement by the legislator comes amid fears that the coalition is on the brink of collapsing.
