Water CS, Eugene Wamalwa has been endorsed to vie for Nairobi's top seat in 2017 by a section of Jubilee MPs.
Since he developed interests to vie the post current held with Governor Evans Kidero, information has been doing rounds in social media, newspapers, and Kenyan media.
It should be noted that this is the first time Wamalwa will be seeking a seat outside his county origin.
He should expect a defeat from his opponent, Kidero since as it is now, Kidero knows and understands Nairobi politics better than him.
Wamalwa will also not convince Nairobians, especially residents of Kibera, a slum that has Luos as the hugest population, who will not vote any other person than Kidero who is a Luo as well.
Wamalwa has never been involved in seeking votes from a large populated area like Nairobi. He may not be able to tolerate the violent voters who may disrupt his campaigns.
For a person to win Nairobi politics, he/ she must have good knowledge of the people living in Nairobi and Wamalwa seems to be lacking the knowledge of the people. This will definitely make him lose the gubernatorial seat.
