Machakos gubernatorial aspirant on a Wiper Democratic movement ticket Wavinya Ndeti has been rated as the best leader in the Ukambani outfit.
Speaking during a live interview, celebrated businessman Chris Kirubi said she has better qualities than former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka. Kirubi however faulted her decision to join Wiper, a party he terms ‘wrong’ for Wavinya.
“I like wavinya’s clarity, speech and energy. She should be the president of Wiper. She is in the wrong party," said Kirubi.
The former Chama Cha Uzalendo (CCU) party leader has been fronted to oust incumbent Alfred Mutua who is defending his seat on a Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) ticket.
She dissolved her party and joined Wiper then won the disputed primaries which her competitor Benard Kiala termed shambolic.
This also led todeparture of Senator Johnson Muthama from the party who accused party leader Kalonzo Musyoka of favorism. He vowed to campaign for Raila Odinga but distance himself from Wiper party affairs.
Meanwhile, National Super Alliance (NASA) has been using the escalating prices as a campaign tool against Jubilee. They have questioned the money that is usually allocated to making sure that Kenya is food secure. They say that these funds are being mismanaged.
